FAQ

How do you handle 'sticker emergencies' like rush orders and custom projects?
We regularly handle rush orders and custom projects.  The best way to ask us about rush orders is to use the 'contact us' form - that form gets emailed to the owner, and the shop manager.  We get back with people right away.  You can also call us on the phone number you see on our google business listing.  We are a small local business - this means every order matters to us.  (read about production time below)

Can I pick up my stickers from you?

Sure!  We are located in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area. (About 8 blocks from the intersection of Stinson and Broadway)  This can be helpful for rush orders, and it can save you money on shipping.  We will get you the pick-up-location after you finish the checkout process.

How long does it take to get my stickers?  (Production Time)
For standard quantities (ordered on our website, 240 or less) we promise to have them produced "within 5 business days of proof approval"  oftentimes we are faster.  If you have a specific deadline, no problem!  Contact us with details - we are crazy responsive to the 'contact us' form on this site.  Larger orders (241-5000) we usually get done in 7-10 working days, but, when a customer needs faster we can usually accomodate.

What types of art files do you require?

For our smaller stickers (smaller than 4"x4") we will take JPEG, PNG, SVG, PDF, AI files.  If you send us one of these types of files, without a cut line - we design the cut line for you.

What do you mean "Cut line"?

The outline of your sticker is the "cut line", it’s where we’ll be cutting. When you send us a file without specifying where to cut - we create it for you and send you back an image of what we will be making.

How do you get my graphic file?

After checkout we will contact you with a way for you to upload it or email it in.

My graphic is wide and not very tall.  How will you fit it into the 3"x3" box for the 3x3 stickers?

Don't be too concerned about the 3"x3" - some stickers look better at 1.5" by 4" others at 4"x2.5" (so we design them that way).  3"x3" stickers are designed to fit on small products like phones, coffee mugs and cups.  But they also stick to large things like cars and walls.
Sometimes the sticker's design works out so that we can ship a few extra stickers (free of charge) because we have more space on the 'sheet' (or 'Roll') when we make your stickers.  We promise to ship the number someone orders, but we try to ship a few extra as a 'thank you!' for your order.

I need some help with my logo or graphic file... can you help me with it?

We like to be helpful - but keep in mind, we are a sticker factory more than we are a graphic design firm.  But the short answer is "Yes!". (Graphic charges may/may not apply)

I am a professional graphic artist and I want to design my sticker myself - cut line and all.  What is the best way for me to do that?

You probably know the drill...
1- Use adobe illustrator (don't use illustrator? contact us we have a 'raster only' process too)
2- Put the print on a layer named "print"
3- Put the outline of the sticker on the layer "cut"
4- Outline your fonts.
5- Embed your images
6- Save as a .pdf - send a small JPEG too just to be safe.
**We send you a proof, to approve.

I see my sticker on your site, and I have not ordered from you in the past... why is that?

We bought the sticker equipment from our former neighbor 'Haus of Print'.  Paul White was our neighbor... he was a great guy.  When we bought the equipment, some art files were on the workstation we purchased.  We also got a box of 'samples' or 'extras'.  We needed to get our website up, so we used those stickers for web photos.  We figure everybody appreciates a little extra exposure...So we didn't think it would bother anyone.
